Cotton Stockings. These socks were hand knit from some of the first cotton raised in Utah. The cotton was carded, spun, and worked by Eliza Code Broadbent. The stockings were displayed in the Relic Hall, described in the catalog as follows: “Pair of home-made socks (Pioneer Times.)” (p. 20) (Accession # 31-002; dimensions: length 23.5”; donor: Eliza Broadbent)
